During her 10 years as a strategist, Julia has created impactful and award-winning strategies for some of the world’s most renowned brands like IKEA, Zalando, Häagen-Dazs, Electrolux and P&G. She strives to create strategies that generate effective, purpose-driven and inclusive work for her clients.
For the past years Julia has been working at Forsman & Bodenfors across both the Stockholm and Singapore offices. She’s led the strategic development for some of F&Bs key clients and was a member of the Singapore leadership team and a key player in developing F&Bs offer and positioning in the APAC region.
She is a strong advocate and believer in collaboration and inclusion and has spoken about the impact of workplace culture on the strategic and creative process at international stages like D&AD and ADC.
Julia has written several effectiveness studies for clients that has been published in WARC and other marketing intelligence platforms, she's been named the second most awarded strategist in the world by the World Creative rankings and has received over 130 international awards including Cannes Lions, D&AD, WARC and Effies.
My is driven by curiosity to understand businesses’ as well as people's behaviors, needs and dreams - and to shape knowledge, data and insights into impactful strategies and creative ideas. She is an experienced strategist and curious problem solver with a proven track record of helping brands discover their purpose and make impactful work.
Before joining forces with Susanna and Julia in Mandai Loop in 2022, My spent 12 years at the Swedish creative agency Forsman & Bodenfors. In 2018 she relocated to Singapore together with Susanna Fagring to set up the agency’s’ Singapore office. As a co-founder and leadership team member she played a central role in establishing and developing the agency during her 3 years in the region.
My has created meaningful and award-winning strategies and work for international brands such as P&G and Volvo Cars. Her work has been awarded globally in shows such as Cannes Lions, Clio, D&AD, Epica, WARC and LIA, with highlights being an IPA Effectiveness Silver for SKII’s Marriage Market in 2018 and a Glass Lion for the same campaign in 2016.
